It's been months since we moved from the Philippines to U.S. and I could say that I already passed the adjustment stage. The people, culture, lifestyle and language didn't became an issue to me. Actually, it's the weather or should I say climate that plays a big difference in my everyday life. I grew up in a tropical country where most of the time it's hot so having the opportunity to experience snow is already a dream come true. It may sound funny and trivial to others but it's true. I really did wish when I was a kid to touch snow at least once in my life and it did happen when we migrated to Denver.
