Truly, "age doesn't matter" in dramaland! After I've seen a bunch of photo stills from King 2 Hearts featuring Lee Seung Gi
(Yay! My Hubby!) and Ha Ji Won
(one of my favorite female Korean stars), I had no choice but to eat up all my discontented words when I said that this
team-up wouldn't work for me. Because you know what, Seung Gi and Ji Won do. Undeniably, their chemistry works on me on all levels. Photo stills alone are enough for me to declare my love for this new romantic ship.

LEE SEUNG GI & HA JI WON AS THE ROYAL COUPLE IN KING 2 HEARTS
|
Age is really deceiving! Don't believe in the pair's notable age gap because it will not determine the chemistry they can bring. I had a doubt before about this pairing because I'm aware that Ha Ji Won is eight years older than Lee Seung Gi but now, everytime I look at this couple, all I can see are two beautiful and well-suited individuals of the same age igniting sparks all over my screen. Who could tell that she's 33 and he's 25 without the beforehand knowledge about their age?
Moving on to the promising story of King 2 Hearts, it's like Spy Myung Wol minus the silly mission and plus the royal wedding treaty. Just like in Princess Hours, this drama is set against the backdrop of an imaginary modern-day constitutional monarchy that exists in South Korea. Lee Seung Gi will revive his frivolous, materialistic and spoiled character as Sun Woo Hwan of Brilliant Legacy to play the role of crown prince Lee Jae Ha. Meanwhile, Ha Ji Won gives life to the dedicated and skilled legendary North Korean special agent Kim Jung Ah. To attain peace and unity between South Korea and North Korea, the two opposing countries made a formal agreement to engage our leads in a royal wedding. But the route to love is not something these two travel instantly. They start their romance in a sour road where prejudices take a turn in their bickering relationship.
On a different note, I think the title sucks! Seriously? King 2 Hearts? Is that the best title the creative team can only come up? But since this show got Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won on board, I don't mind to turn a blind eye on the dreadfully created title. Hihi . . .
King 2 Hearts is set to premiere on MBC this March 14, following the vacated spot of the hit sageuk romance drama The Moon That Embraces The Sun.
樱花树下。。。又美又浪漫~another hot kiss by Jae Ha and Ha Ji won will definitely pull the rating pts up ♥♥♥p(^o^)q
