LEE MIN HO & PARK MIN YOUNG FOREVER!

Just last week, fandoms went wild again when the issue about Lee Min Ho and Park Min Young's reconciliation broke out like a plague in every Korean entertainment news sites. And guess what? Drama Spotlight : Asuko March

ASUKO MARCH
FAST FACTS
Title : Asuko March
Country : Japan
Genre : Romance, School
Episodes : 9
Release Year : 2011
My Rating : 8 out of 10
Main Cast :

-> Takei Emi
-> Matsuzaka Tori
-> Kaku Kento

There are moments that we want to wind down our journey, to explore on something less serious and to pamper ourselves with delightful visuals. Japanese school drama, Asuko March invaded my watch-list just right on time. I really need a break right now from the heavy and angsty K-dramaland. Although I'm currently enjoying the delicacies being offered there, it's still human nature to crave for other flavors and dishes. Chocolate is a favorite treat but a person will eventually grow tired of it if he/she eats it everyday.

Thanks to Mad Dino, if not for her mini-review about this series on her blog, I wouldn't be introduced to a gem such as Asuko March. I admit that I was not that convinced to give this a shot at first but as I lurked around tumblr, I found a lot of people gushing about the story and the characters that made my attention attach to it. I just had a marathon yesterday and here I am now, working on my review about this amusing show.

Feast of The Gods is My New Drama Craving

It was a dull and lazy Sunday afternoon when I stumbled across Sung Yuri's new cooking-melo-romance drama. I was sitting on the bed next to my mom barely watching an episode of her favorite series "Criminal Minds" on replay. It was hard for me to fix my attention to the crime-solving series on screen because my fingers were busy surfing the internet, looking for a new Asian drama to watch. After a few minutes, I landed on MBC's weekend-drama Feast of The Gods.

Initial Thoughts About Four "Thousand" Dramas (Part 1)

In case you got the wrong idea, let me clarify first that I'm not going to lay down my first impressions about four thousand different dramas. That's a massive account and so far, I only have more than a hundred of Asian dramas on my list. Instead, I am going to tackle about the early episodes of four Korean dramas that have the word "thousand" incorporated on the their titles.

Park Min Young's Roman Holiday and The Significance of The Trip to her Love Life

Europe is the best place for people in love! Whether there is real meat behind the split-up issue or just purely fabricated flesh to manipulate Lee Min Ho's rabid fans, I don't care at all. I believe what I want to believe. I see things through the filter of my own interpretation and what carry weight to me the most is, Park Min Young unnie is having a great and glamorous time wandering the streets of Italy while licking ice-cream.

In Time With You : OST Lyrics (English Translations)

If you're an avid lurker of PurpleLee's Corner, you have the idea how much I worship this show! I love "In Time With You" will all my heart and that is not an overstatement because I do. I really do. Aside from the heart-tugging story of best friends-turned hubby and wifey, the songs included in the official soundtrack of this Taiwanese drama play a big part why all my emotions are dig out of my limbic system.

The Magic of Xian Lim and Kim Chiu

XIAN LIM & KIM CHIU
Once in a blue moon : that's how rare a Filipino loveteam can hold me captive under its spell. But once a pair caught my attention and locked me up, expect that breaking out is the hardest thing to do.  Because it would be far-fetched for me to escape from the prison built out of love, that I entered myself voluntarily. Rico Yan-Judy Ann and John Lloyd-Bea : these two are the only loveteams that completely captured my nineteen-year-old-heart and I always thought that no other pair can captivate me the way they did until KIM-XI couple comes in my way.

Honestly, I'm not really into Filipino teleseryes. I'm picky when it comes to watching dramas from the Philippines. Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese dramas are the ones I'm really enamored of, as I find their stories more enthralling and riveting. But My Binondo Girl is an exception. Through this drama, I found a pair who effortlessly makes me insanely in love.
